Acoustic measurement – LOMAH
– Location of Miss and Hit (LOMAH) – High-accuracy system for detecting incoming projectiles and calculating the location of hits and misses.
The LOMAH provides automatic location and plotting of misses and hits by detecting the presence of supersonic rounds passing over the array of acoustic sensors thus making possible to build realistic scenarios.
Besides providing the hit and miss data and scoring, the LOMAH makes a target system act accordingly depending on where the target is hit or missed, for example making the target “take cover” when detecting projectiles in proximity of the target even if the target is not hit and go up again.
- Open API and connects with a variety of pop-up targets.
- Provides information on how training units performed in terms of targeting.
- Enables realistic target scenarios.
- Can be mounted on all W5 Solutions’ pop-up targets
