NASTA Target Systems™
Clay TARGET throwers
For sport, skeet and trap. Practice and competition. From hunting ranges to Olympic arenas.
NASTA™ clay target throwers
When NASTA was started in Finland back in 1968, the goal was to create the world’s best throwing machine. And so it began. Designs were tested, discoveries were made, and secrets were created.
Many years later, NASTA has earned a reputation for manufacturing throwing machines of unparallelled quality, and maybe the goals of the founders were achieved.
One of the many design secrets lays within the shock absorbation of the throwing arm. This provides for extreme accuracy and duarability, and makes a NASTA thrower more damped and silenced than any other thrower on the market.
The same design feature also makes a NASTA machine extremely precise and softhandling, resulting in minimum clay target breakage.
“We call it the Sound of Nasta™
We know it’s hard to believe, but there are lots of NASTA machines out there passing 40 years of age and still in operation. This leads us to believe that the NASTA thrower may also be the best in class for durability and low cost ownership.
So, knowing this, why wouldn’t you consider NASTA for your range, whether you are running a hunting range or plan for Olympic competitions?
Tested and certified by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF).

“We installed NASTA Olympic Trap Machines in May of 2005. They have been trouble free. The maintenance is minimal. The technical people at NASTA are always available to us. It is the perfect solution.”
David R. Senter
President of International Shooting Sports of Oregon, USA.
“At our clay pigeon shooting range we have, until now, used NASTA throwers produced in 1976 with a remarkably high uptime and low lifecycle cost. There was absolutely no doubt in our minds what the replacement should be after 50 years in duty; NASTA again!”
Jan Gregg Schneider
Shooting Committee Chairman, Kongsberg Hunters and Fishermens Association, Norway.
“As the distributor of NASTA clay machines since 2001 then I can honestly say its as easy as easy gets. There are no weak links, the machines are extremely dependable and require a minimal amount of time and effort for regular servicing. Reliability is a hallmark when you are using machines in clubs where everyone wants to shoot, not work.”
Kjartan Lorange
Manager of Veidihusid Sakka. A proud NASTA distributor since 2001, Iceland.
